Terms And Conditions
These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Hampstead Taxi. Booking a taxi and using our service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as presented in this agreement.
In this agreement, "Hampstead Taxi," "we," and "us" refer to the company providing the service. The terms "you" and "your" may refer to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2.1 It is your responsibility to ensure sufficient travel time to reach your destination on time, including airport transfers where you must adhere to flight check-in times. Hampstead Taxi shall not be liable for any delays resulting from your failure to allocate ample travel time or unavailability during the scheduled collection time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a vehicle that accommodates both passengers and luggage adequately. Hampstead Taxi cannot guarantee transportation of excessive luggage. Please note that, irrespective of age, a child will be considered as a single passenger.
2.3 If wheelchair access is required, please make the request at the time of booking.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotations are based on the information you provide. Prices, unless otherwise stated, exclude VAT, which will be added if applicable. We reserve the right to revise the quoted price in the event of significant itinerary changes.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and airport parking costs. Any waiting time beyond this will be subject to standard Hampstead Taxi waiting charges. While we will attempt to adjust our service for delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review this confirmation carefully to ensure accuracy. Failure to notify Hampstead Taxi of any discrepancies may result in delays and associated costs.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any costs for cleaning or repairs resulting from passenger damage to the vehicle will be charged.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not allowed in the vehicle.
4.3 All children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 The transportation of passengers must comply with licensing and insurance restrictions.
5.1 If you need to cancel a booking with Hampstead Taxi, please do so as soon as possible. Cancellation after dispatch will incur a charge based on the driver's time and distance traveled to the point of cancellation.
5.2 If you cancel a booking made through our online system before dispatch, an applicable charge may be levied on the initial payment.
6.1 While we make every effort to ensure punctual arrival at your destination, we are not liable for losses due to circumstances beyond our control. Under no circumstances shall Hampstead Taxi be liable for losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In case of a breakdown during your journey, we will make every effort to provide an alternative vehicle for you to continue your journey promptly.
6.4 You will not hold Hampstead Taxi responsible for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from the actions or omissions of anyone in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit their liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any passenger's actions pose a risk to the vehicle or driver, including abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.
8.1 Hampstead Taxi may subcontract its obligations as outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any of your obligations or rights under this agreement.
8.2 We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please review these terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement represents the complete understanding between Hampstead Taxi and you.
8.5 These terms and conditions do not confer any rights or benefits to third parties. No third party has the right to enforce rights under this agreement unless otherwise specified in writing.
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims and disputes made after this timeframe will not be entertained by Hampstead Taxi.
